What's to Do?
There are a variety of things to enjoy you're staying with us at Goldilocks' Haven. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is approximately 10 minutes away with many exciting and different things to do within the Park. Hiking, picnicking, horseback riding, enjoying the scenery, and many other outdoor activities in the mountains await our guests.
If you need a break from nature but would still like to enjoy the Park, Downtown Gatlinburg is also a short drive away. It offers many unique shops, such as the Lazy One store, which sells loungewear that has funny puns. The town is very pedestrian friendly and offers fabulous eateries, including our favorite: Pancake Pantry. Southern hospitality is one of the many things that makes Gatlinburg a perfect vacation getaway.
Accompanied by a cabin that functions as a home-away-from-home, we're positive you'll find a type of entertainment that is perfect for your needs. Goldilocks' Haven offers its own form of pastimes, too. Take in the mountain scenery from the Master Balcony or after a short walk. Try your hand at Ms. PacMan in our Game Room, or relax by the fireplace watching one of our provided movies or use the Smart TV to access streaming services.
No matter what you choose to do, we're positive Goldilocks' Haven is the "just right" lodging option for your rest and relaxation destination in the mountains.

HORSEBACK RIDING
For your enjoyment, there are several horseback riding options in the Smokies. Some tours are guided, and for experienced riders, others are not. Be prepared for magnificent views in the great outdoors.
DOWNTOWN SHOPPING
Gatlinburg, TN is known for its fine selection of crafter and unique shops. Located just 10 minutes from Goldilocks' Haven, its the perfect place to spend an evening or the day! Our favorite shops are The Lazy One and Thistle Dew Nicely. See why people are at the heart of it all. You won't regret stopping into these or any other Gatlinburg store.
HIKING
Strap up your hiking boots and head to a campsite within the Park. Enjoy lunch by the stream as you hear the water sounds, and then hop onto one of the many hiking trails within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Part of Grotto Falls is pictured here.
PANCAKE PANTRY
This is our favorite restaurant in Downtown Gatlinburg, located in The Village Shoppes. Daily, they prepare their own fresh whipped butter, and their pancakes are nothing like the ones at a pancake chain. They also serve lunch. It is very popular, so expect a wait time even before they open. It is well worth the wait! Yum!
